Well, I'm not exactly sure I'm "back" yet, Thainamu, so it's possible, David, that you are still correct in calling me retired. I'm trying to figure out again whether I like blogging or not, whether it gives me energy or takes it away.

I did figure that if I enjoyed this book so very much there were likely some bird-lovers out there who would also find it fascinating. Thanks to each of you for stopping back by after so long and commenting.

I just called you "retired" on my blog and here you go posting something.

That bird guy is a nut. I'd love to have a copy of that book.

This book sounds like a must for me. I love the opera and listening to birds. I miss listening to the birds of the night now that I'm a city girl. I stumble at someone who doesn't love the sound and enjoy watching those wonders bounce about. My children and I have spent lots of time giggling at them.

Thank you for bringing this book to my attention.

eclexia, where have you been? Glad to see you back.

I'm a bit of a birdwatcher--strictly amateur--but I have learned very much about bird songs.
