Tye-dye,
I don't really know anything about blogspot. On Wordpress, when I'm logged in, I can just "post a comment" or "leave a reply" like anybody visiting my site would. That's how I'm responding to you right now.

There is also a function in Wordpress where you can "edit" a comment. So, I've seen some bloggers add a response right onto the end of a comment someone else has left. But then, that doesn't show up on the comment list as a new comment, and I prefer to have each comment show up that way. I know when I visit other blogs, I like to see when the other owner has responded by just looking at the "recent comment" list instead of having to go to the actual post.

I don't recall seeing a blogspot blog, though, that has a listed option of "recent comments". I'm still figuring out stuff on my own blog, and I know there is a lot I don't know how to do. I like the polka dots on your site!
